2025-2026 Registration is Now Open!
You should have received your child’s snapcode in the mail over the past couple of weeks. Please use this to register your child for the 2025-2026 school year at your earliest convenience.
Registration Steps:

Click on Enroll Now at the top of the screen
Scroll down and click on Current Student Registration:
Enter Snapcode:
Follow steps to complete registration and submit upon completion.

Field Day Parent Volunteers – Monday, May 19th
We are looking for 30 parent volunteers to work from 9:00-12:15 lead field day stations. Many of these stations will involve physical activity and water fun! Volunteers must have a completed Background Check on file and you must sign up for the entire time slot. Sign Up Genius
Third Grade Wax Museum- May 7th 1:45-2:15
Join us to learn about many famous people from past and present as our third grade students transform into a famous person they have studied to create a living wax museum. As always, we encourage our visitors to carpool due to limited parking.
Volleyball Intramurals
This is open to 4th and 5th graders. Practices will begin after school on May 5th and end at 5:00 pm. (May 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) There will be a Jamboree Tournament held at New Washington High School on May 17th. Please return the permission slip if you are interested.

PTO Fundraiser: Kona Ice- Friday, May 9th
The PTO will have a Kona Ice Fundraiser on the following Spring dates during recess: May 9th. All purchases MUST be made online before 8:00 AM on the day of the fundraiser. The profits made from this fundraiser will go to every child getting a free Kona Ice on Field Day at the end of the school year.
Future CMS Athletes: Physicals May 7th at CHS
All 6th-12th grade students will need to have a physical exam on file to tryout or participate in GCCS athletics. On May 7th at CHS fro 5:00-7:00, students will have the opportunity to obtain a physical for $25 plus the $5 Final Forms fee.
CMS Pirate Preview- July 24 from 12:00-3:00
All future CMS 6th graders are encouraged to sign up for Pirate Preview. This event is a great opportunity for your child to familiarize themselves with their class schedules, practice opening lockers, tour the school, meet their teachers, and get to know other 6th graders who will be attending CMS. Pirate Run Club- Summer Endurance Session 2025
Starts June 9th, Monday and Wednesday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 8:00 am. Kids from all schools and sports are welcome! Register at www.piraterunclub.com. For more information or questions, email piraterunclub@gmail.com. The club will end with the Monroe Street Mile on July 19th!
Charlestown Sharks Summer Swim Team-
The swim team practices and competes from May 19 through July 12, for ages 4 through high school. Swimmers are assigned to groups based on ability and the meets are not mandatory.
There is a QR code for the registration and for the GroupMe communication app.

Charlestown Summer Science Camp 2025: Dinosaurs
Get ready for a fun-filled week of science exploration at the Knowledge is Power camp in Charlestown. The theme this year is “The Dinosaurs of Science – Jurassic Camp.”
- K-2 Students Time: 9:00 – 11:00 AM
- 3-5 Students time 12:00 – 2:00
- Current grade level at the time of sign-up.
Throughout the week, campers will dive into a variety of exciting experiments, including:
- Make Your Own Fossil – Discover the secrets of paleontology by creating your very own fossil.
- Fizzing Dinosaur Eggs – Watch as your dinosaur eggs fizz and erupt!
- How to Make Dinosaur Fossils – Explore how real fossils are made by mixing toothpaste and eggs to create your very own fossil replica.
These activities combine science and fun, sparking creativity while teaching you something new!
After School Activity Pick Up
We are so proud to offer a wide range of extracurricular activities at JJ. With multiple activities letting out at the same time, we ask that all parents or guardians use our car rider process to pick up after these activities. Please make sure to enter our parking lot from Halcyon Rd, wait in line to pick up your child, and exit the parking lot near the Charlestown Library. Do not park and walk over to get your child. This makes dismissal from these activities unsafe.
