CHS SAIL: Dental Health Month- February 20th
The CHS SAIL (Scholar Athlete Innovative Leaders) Team is recognizing February as National Children’s Dental Health month and collecting dental hygiene items for local youth organizations in need (NCOC & the Youth Shelter)! Below is their awareness video and invitation to help join their cause by donating toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and rinse at the boys basketball game next Tuesday night, February 20th at CHS! We encourage you to come to the game Tuesday. We’ll be doing a fun Instagram blitz of winning smiles from our Pirates that you can get involved with. CHS SAIL Dental Health Video
Student Council Heart Challenge: Week of Feb. 26-March 1
Student Council is sponsoring a Kids Heart Challenge Wellness Week! They encourage you to review the wellness week information and parent letter and complete the activities with your children! Funds raised are not only helping those with sick hearts, but our school can also earn some awesome playground equipment! Get started by registering your student today! Slime Making Day- Volunteers Needed
We are so excited to partner again with Ben and Crystal Woods from Look Out for the Left Out to have a Slime Making Day at JJ on Friday, March 1st! Amazon Wishlist of Supplies Needed (Items must be ordered by Feb. 19th to arrive on time.) Volunteer- Sign Up Genius (Must have a Limited Background Check on file.) R.O.C.K: Raising Our Children’s Kids
Grandparents, foster parents, or other family members who are now the primary caregiver for children; please join us for support, fellowship and information that is vital for the journey you are on. There are two Clark County meeting sites: Sellersburg Library Tuesdays 9:30-11:30 am April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7 and 14 or the Clarksville Library on Wednesdays 10:00 am -12:00 pm, April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, and 15.
