JJES Student Council Fundraiser
Starting Monday we will be having a Kids Heart Challenge Wellness Week! The Student Council will be sponsoring this event. Parent letters will be sent home on Friday, February 23rd. Donations will be made online ONLY! No money will be collected at school. Prizes for those who have made donations will be passed out in March.
Dress Up Days are also happening to encourage students to participate in donations online. Days are as follows. Please encourage your child to participate!
2/26 Monday-Wear Team Jersey OR Hat Day
2/27 Tuesday- Wear Tie Dye or Blue
2/28 Wednesday-Wear PJs or Green
2/29 Thursday-Dress Like Your Future Self or Wear Purple
3/1 Friday-Wear Red or Hearts
Slime Making Day- Volunteers Needed
We are so excited to partner again with Ben and Crystal Woods from Look Out for the Left Out to have a Slime Making Day at JJ on Friday, March 1st! Volunteer- Sign Up Genius (Must have a Limited Background Check on file.) To learn more about Calla’s story, please check out the website Look Out for the Left Out.
Academic Team Tryouts- March 12
Information on this activity will go home on Monday, March 4th. Students that want to participate will take the tryout test throughout their school day. The team will be announced on March 13th and there will be practice after school on March 14th. The GCCS Academic Competition date is set for May 9th at JHS.
R.O.C.K: Raising Our Children’s Kids
Grandparents, foster parents, or other family members who are now the primary caregiver for children; please join us for support, fellowship and information that is vital for the journey you are on. There are two Clark County meeting sites: Sellersburg Library Tuesdays 9:30-11:30 am April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7 and 14 or the Clarksville Library on Wednesdays 10:00 am -12:00 pm, April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, and 15.
