Oct. 22 – 28 was National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week
The goal of this awareness campaign is to bring together individuals, organizations, industry, and state, tribal, and local governments to increase lead poisoning prevention awareness in order to reduce childhood exposure to lead.

Thanksgiving JJ Family Dinner- November 16th
We are so excited to host our Thanksgiving JJ Family Dinner again this school year. Invitations with important information will be passed out to students today. Guests will pay $5 per meal and must RSVP to this event by November 3rd. Due to the preparations for this event, we will not be able to accept late entries.
- Students are limited to 4 guests
- We encourage families to not bring siblings because we would prefer for the focus to be on their JJ elementary student

Parent Teacher Conferences- Nov. 7th
Teachers have sent home sign up times for conferences through Sign Up Genius. Please take advantage of this opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss how your child is progressing in school.
Chess Anyone?- November 18th Red Devil Invitational Tournament
The tournament will be held on Nov. 18th. Registration will close on November 10th be aware that there will NOT be any onsite registration for this tournament. Registration Link
